In Ukraine, the volume of agricultural production in the first half of 2017 is projected at the level of last year - the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade

According to the forecasts of the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine, the volume of agricultural production in the first half of this year. Will correspond to the level of the same period in 2016. The corresponding forecast is contained in the analytical material published on the website of the Ministry of Economic Development.

"In the first half of 2017 the volume of agricultural production is expected at the level of the first half of 2016," the forecast says. According to analysts of the ministry, the main factors that will influence production are large areas under crops and a better state of winter crops than last year, weather conditions during the ripening and growing of crops, and the new mechanism of state budget support for producers.

It is noted that the main risks for agricultural production in the first half of the year are the escalation of the military conflict in the east of the country, as well as unfavorable weather conditions during the ripening and vegetation of crops.
